Aurora Bangarth is both a music funding manager and drummer/percussionist based in Toronto. Through from her time at FACTOR to presently running her own funding management business, Aurora has been working in Canadian music funding for nearly a decade. Her uniquely comprehensive music industry experience over the past 20 years informs her deep understanding of funding structures. Outside music funding, she’s toured extensively across North America and Europe both as a drummer/percussionist and tour manager, done festival PR & event management, and worked as a music educator. Aurora earned her MA in Popular Music Studies from the University of Liverpool in 2008. These days, when neither gigging nor grant writing, she can likely be found wandering around a forest.
