Darlene Tonelli is a music and technology lawyer and the founder of Inter Alia Law (www.interalia-law.com). Inter Alia Law provides experienced in-house counsel to entertainment, media, and technology companies, advising on licensing and day to day business issues. Darlene previously spent 8 years at Universal Music Canada, where she was Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Affairs. At Universal, Darlene oversaw music licensing, and was tasked with building new digital business models. In that role, she worked on several groundbreaking license deals to bring music to Canadian listeners in new ways. Darlene has also served on Music Canada's Advisory Council since 2018, and co-hosts the Lawyer Life Podcast.
