Montreal-based, Nicole Arrage is an emerging artist who dazzles us with her fluorescent aura. Her award-winning music video ‘‘Upside Down’’ took Tiktok by storm & won Best Music Video at the 2021 LA Sun Film Fest. She is inspired by soulful pop that composes her contagious melodies, mixed with the nostalgia of honest lyrics, topped with sprinkles of funky baselines. Her artistic canvas showcases a remarkable vocal versatility, creating a vibe that is uniquely her own, one paintbrush at a time.
A Gatineau native, she grew up passionate & curious about music as a whole. After obtaining a diploma in pure and applied science, Nicole moved to Montreal to study at École de Musique Vincent-d'Indy in Jazz Voice & Composition, for which it was love at first sight. She received the 2016 Aura Award of Excellence and the 2016 Pierre Lapointe & Christine Harkness scholarship. Those two years at Vincent d’Indy became Nicole’s most enriching, artistic, magical years to date. She then completed her degree at McGill University's Schulich School of Music in Jazz Voice Performance studying with Ranee Lee and Marianne Trudel.
