Dahlia Wakefield from Edmonton, Alberta, has just released a brand new single - an Alice Cooper cover of “Poison”. She released her AC single “Visiting Hours” in July 2021 produced by Russell Broom (Jann Arden) at OCL Studios and The Broom Closet. In June 2020 she released an upbeat country/rock tune to Canadian Country Radio and all digital platforms called “You Don’t Get To Win”, co-written by her dear friend Bobbi-Jayne Stacey.

A graduate of the Grant MacEwan Music program and a vocal and beginner piano coach for the past ten years, Dahlia (PRON: DALE-yuh), was a finalist in several international songwriting competitions and has released three solo albums and several singles. She has also released three albums and several singles and videos with the Dirt Road Angels, a female fronted country rock band. Nominated as ACMA Group and Fans Choice of the Year for the past 7 years in a row, they have opened for many top US and Canadian acts.

With her undeniable power, grit and soulful vocals, Dahlia has been performing in various bands with guitarist/singer Alan Tymofichuk for the past 20 years. They currently perform in THE DAHLIA & ALAN DUO and are also band members of the DIRT ROAD ANGELS (DRA) and DAHLIA & THE VILLAINS. Dahlia also has a Heart Tribute band called BRIGADE but her latest project is metal cover band SHOCKER. Dahlia also enjoys singing solo at various retirement homes. Music will always be Dahlia’s passion!
