Nadine McNulty has contributed to the development and growth of music and culture in Toronto over a period of twenty-five years. Nadine McNulty is an arts consultant and the Artistic Director of Batuki Music Society, a non-profit African arts organization dedicated to nurturing and strengthening cultural diversity through music and the arts. Batuki Music promotes African music and culture through performances, films, workshops and events throughout the year, as well as the annual Habari Africa Festival. Nadine is the creator and manager of Okavango African Orchestra. She is also the producer and co-host of Karibuni, a music program aired weekly on CIUT 89.5 FM, a broadcast that is dedicated to promoting African music ranging from traditional to contemporary. This program also acts as a voice for African communities, musicians and the overall African music scene.
