Hey, I’m Rae! I’ve been singing and playing the piano for almost 25 years. As a child, I had an in-depth awareness of various musical styles and techniques through my upbringing in church, classical training, and ear training. By high school, I was arranging for musical productions, making studio music in class and my free time, with plans to become a music professor.

While there has always been a stigma between theoretical and practical disciplines in music, I experienced it firsthand during my studies in Ottawa. Through learning and networking, I was able to see the benefits of both worlds and mold them together in her projects and musical endeavours throughout the city. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as City Fidelia, Doressa, Maurice Moore, Ryan Ofei, JYDN, WILL, and others for performance, arranging, production and songwriting.

My talents also led me to managing and co-hosting Powerhouse Radio, an urban gospel radio show, voice acting, script writing and jingle creating. Now, I continue to challenge my talents, working on a variety of projects across the creative scene. My goal is to be in the room, whether learning or contributing in a musical capacity. As of late, I've been keen on going back to school for music supervision, supporting musicians and producers of less popular genres the opportunity to get their music in more tv and film.
