Samantha Selci is a Canadian producer, musician, and sound specialist. With over 15 years of experience as a performer and technician in classical and contemporary music, she has extensive expertise in voice, audio production, and composition. Her current thesis research at TMU investigates creative performance techniques using immersive PA technology, and she teaches Performance Production in TMU's Professional Music Program.
As an AV technician, Selci has worked with The National Music Centre, Calgary Folk Fest, Jack Singer Concert Hall, SAVI, and served as head of audio at Drom Taberna for two years. She has collaborated with acclaimed artists worldwide, including Maya, Stephen Page, Okun, Chantal Kreviazuk, and The Tenors. Her current work as a sound engineer takes place at her personal studio, Lost Tonic, and at Massey Hall, where in 2025 she recorded and mixed the Oscar Peterson 100th Birthday Concert for CBC and completed the Dolby Atmos mix for Kaia Kater’s Polaris-longlisted album Strange Medicine.
Selci has toured extensively across Canada and produced several albums and music videos. Her album Fallen Woman, co-produced with Grammy-winning engineer Sylvia Massy, reached #2 on the EARSHOT national electronic charts, screened at the Calgary International Film Festival, and received international press coverage. In 2025, she launched Olea Wisteria, a mixed-media project expanding her research in immersive live performance, and she is currently producing multiple albums with Canadian artists slated for release in 2026.
