Andrea Caswell brings over 10 years of leadership excellence to creative projects and events, directed by authentic relationship building, adaptability, and forging new opportunities for creatives.
Andrea is the Programming Director with the Music Managers Forum of Canada, and works as a freelance communications consultant, tour manager, artist and brand consultant, music creator, and events entrepreneur. She is a delegate for the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), and volunteers as a juror with FACTOR Canada. After graduating from Queen’s University with degrees in International Development (BAH) and Theatre (BA), she moved to Toronto, ON to chase artistic pursuits. Following completion of Seneca College’s Independent Music Production Program, Andrea collaborated across genres. Learning from various communities of music-makers pushed her to delve further into electronic and alternative modalities of making and presenting music. This curiosity brought her to live and work in Berlin from 2014-2016. In 2016, Andrea returned to Canada and began working as a tour manager with Juno-Award winners Splash'N Boots, which resulted in management of over 300 performances across Canada and a rapid expansion of day-to-day operations and communications. Creating unique opportunities became one of her specialties during her term, and her drive to win new connections led to unique outreach and performance opportunities in remote communities throughout Canada's North.
