Kendra Harder (b 1986) is a composer, arranger and classical guitarist with a penchant for amateur feminist musicology. One of her biggest passions is creating story through song – particularly through opera. She has had operas developed through the inaugural Mécénat Musica Prix 3 Femmes, and the Fresh Squeezed Opera Digital Vocal Lab. Her comic opera Book of Faces has seen multiple performances, including Highlands Opera Studio's concert titled "Women in Opera: Then & Now."

In addition to writing music, Kendra has taught courses about female composers through the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, and is presently working on developing an online library called “Feministory,” which is dedicated to the dissemination of information about historically marginalized composers.

Kendra has had music commissioned by the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, Goodchild Grady Duo, Azuline Duo, Footnotes Jazz Ensemble, and a handful of private commissions for special events. Her music has been performed across Canada, a handful of the States, and across the pond in Oostende, Belgium. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Saskatchewan where she studied guitar with Walter Hofmeister.
