I'm a music industry chameleon. My experience ranges from talent booker, live production manager and music event coordinator. I'm an experienced engineer, producer and songwriter as well as an educator. I'm fascinated by all aspects of the recording industry, from music creation to dissemination. I’m really invested in live industry and booking.
Graduating from Humber College (2020) and completing a masters at Berklee College (2021), I focused my studies on jazz and world music performance and production. In that time, I also explored music industry and live production, understanding the complexities between Canadian and European markets.
Working in the industry, I've joined wonderful projects gaining recognition for my role. As a producer, an album I produced was awarded the JUNO 'Vocal Jazz Album of the Year' in 2022. In my previous employment, I worked as the Head of Canada for an international showcase, expanding the company's reach into Canadian markets in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
Currently, I am employed at North by Northeast (NXNE) as the venue/artists coordinator, for both the 2023 and 2024 editions of the festival. In this role, I lead in venue acquisition and communications and also manage backline and stage production organization and artist curation. Working with a woman led team, I've been able to use my experience from previous roles to enhance festival and artist recognition while learning from a team of talented and experienced women in my field.
