Ewelina Ferenc (she/her) is a Toronto-based folk singer, booking agent, and music manager originally from Katowice, Poland. With an M.A. in Communications and a background in ethnomusicology, she specializes in Polish traditional and global music. Since immigrating to Canada, Ewelina has become a key figure in the folk and global music scene, performing with her band Polky and promoting Polish and Eastern European music for North American audiences. A graduate of Humber College’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management program, Ewelina founded Sweet Beets Music, an agency supporting women, immigrants, and Toronto-based artists. With nearly two decades of experience in Europe and Canada, she continues to enrich the country’s diverse music landscape as a performer and industry professional.
