Hi, I’m Lauren Churchman and I’m a UK radio plugger and consultant @ Drift Music Promotions.

Before relocating to Vancouver, BC in fall 2021, I spent nearly a decade in London working at some of the biggest national radio stations - BBC Radio 6Music, Radio 1 and 1Xtra - as a music programmer, playlist curator and producer. This experience has given me a rich understanding of the radio and promotions world and I now offer everything from full campaign plugging to consultation services for artists and labels looking to grow their fanbases in the UK. More specifically I can help pick radio singles and edits, craft and execute seamless campaigns for artists and get their music into the ears of some of the UK’s biggest tastemakers.

Radio promo aside, I have extensive experience in events and live music having worked in event organisation & production and festival stage programming as well as working in tour management advancing North American tour dates, and booking venues, hotels and travel for artists on tour in the UK. I have significant live experience on-site having worked as stage producer, artist and talent liaison, guest hospitality lead and audience chaperone at various festivals, arena shows and smaller, more intimate events. I’m continually seeking to further my live music experience alongside my radio promotions work; upcoming examples include volunteering at the JUNO Awards 2023 as Publicity and Media Relations.
