Midhat, currently pursuing her Bachelor of Commerce at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, brings a diverse background in media and arts management to her role as an intern at Women in Music Canada.
With experience as a radio host, music journalist, and editorial director, she blends her passion for creativity with her academic background in business. Whether she's teaching herself Sleater-Kinney songs on her guitar or curating playlists on Spotify, Midhat is constantly immersed in the world of music and its cultural impact. She is eager to leverage her skills and enthusiasm for all things creative to contribute to WIMC's mission of fostering equity and empowering women and gender-diverse folks in the music industry.
