I am relatively new to the music industry, as I have been single parenting 2 neuro-spicy children for the last 20 years. I'm so happy to have found my place here, and to be building the career I've been dreaming of forever.

I am a singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, band leader, and have been studying songwriting and voice at Vancouver Community College for the last 6 years. I am graduating with a degree this July. I am most passionate about connecting and building community through music, and plan to return to graduate studies in Ethnomusicology in the future. Outside of school, I have been teaching voice for several years, and enjoy helping older/shy students find their voices and build confidence. I have also been performing as a soloist and member of Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir for over a decade.

I am currently focusing on artist development, performing with my soul/funk band locally and branching out to other parts of BC. Much of my music is influenced by BIPOC musicians, so I seek ways to make space for and honour the artists I cover and work with. As an independent artist, I serve as my own manager, marketing team, etc., and I am also the sole composer/lyricist/main artist, and am in the process of recording a new string of singles to be released this year. It's a lot of jobs as I'm sure many can relate.

I am also reaching out to colleagues to develop other projects, including a community music project called WhiskeyJams that I co-founded with my guitarist, Jameson Kelly. In that context, we host community jam events, host shows, recording and songwriting sessions, and voice and instrument lessons to a growing community of under-represented and emerging musicians and artists.
