JUNO-nominated duo Bel and Quinn is the creator of an electrifying musical universe where they are inspired by jazz, soul, and konpa (Haiti). Bel writes the lyrics, while Quinn composes and arranges the original pieces brilliantly, in addition to establishing herself as a talented jazz guitarist. The two second-generation sisters of Haitian origin launched, in October 2023, their first album “Donte sann yo”. Funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, this new project was produced by award-winning drummer Salin Cheewapansri (Dominique Fils-Aimé). In 2024, they received their first JUNO nomination for “Global Music Album of the Year”. They were also nominated at the ADISQ for “Album of the Year - Global Music” (2024). More recently, they were finalists at the Gala Dynastie for “World Music Group of the Year” (2025).
