Kathleen Morrison is a Calgary born soprano who has been described as “Riveting”
(Opera Canada), and of possessing a “Highly professional voice” (Kultur-Extra Berlin).
Her career over the past 10 years has taken her all over the world, including Germany,
Austria, China, Italy, USA, and Canada. In 2019 she co-founded the popular opera duo ‘Divas Opera’ with Mezzo Soprano Barbara King, that has delighted audiences ever since. Aside from her active performance career, Kathleen owns and runs the successful ‘Voice by Kathleen’ studio in Calgary. Her studio members have had great success including roles with Theatre Calgary, Storybook Theatre, The Young Canadians; successful auditions for America’s Got Talent, Berklee School of Music, all of the
major Canadian Universities, The American Music & Dramatic Academy, Calgary Opera; and
awards from the Alberta Country Music Association & Project Wild. She is the director of solo
voice for the Renert School’s Solo Voice Studio, was the keynote speaker at the Calgary Arts
Academy’s IYILX (2019), has led numerous vocal/performance, workshops/festival adjudications and masterclasses; including her alma mater at the University of Lethbridge. Kathleen currently lives in Calgary, AB with her Grand Trick Champion Samoyed, Alfio Sings for Lola.
