As a way to celebrate parents in music and to inform and inspire new perspective parents, we are excited to launch this series in honour of Global Day of Parents (UN info) on June 1. Click on the beautiful pics below to hear from these amazing artist and industry mama.
We plan to use the insight from these parents will help us to advocate for change to help make the industry more family friendly for all. We thank all parents highlited here and recognize that we could not have captured all of the incredible work don by mamas in music in one blog. We are committed to using this as a catalyst to to more as we move through this work.
Today, we also launch the Women in Music Canada Parents community on WhatsAp to serve and a connector for parents and perspective parents to connect and share questions, advice, and knowledge to build support within the community.
