As a Musora Mentor, you serve as a key point of contact for students throughout their musical journey. Your mission is to actively engage with our community, building long-term relationships and providing personalized mentorship to help students reach their goals and play the music they love.
Key Duties:
- Provide one-on-one mentorship and support to students via recorded video reviews, and messages, as well as lesson plans and learning paths.
- Set achievable goals with students through lesson plans, learning paths, and reviews.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships, encouraging progress and celebrating achievements.
- Proactively retain students and increase their lifetime value.
- Communicate with students through phone, email, and live chat.
- Engage daily with the student community through community spaces, live sessions, and student events.
- Create engaging lesson and video content, including workouts, and challenges.
- Develop content for and host live Q&A sessions.
- Support the Moderator team with daily guidance and connection points.
- Represent the student community, challenging the status quo when needed.
- Collaborate with other teams to create engaging community opportunities.
- Stay informed about new content and trends in online education and performance.
- Handle other assignments and special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Community engagement levels for Musora.
- Retention and lifetime value for students on their musical journey.
- Development of outcomes-based learning objectives for students.
- Editing and uploading of student reviews and created content.
- Ensure your presence and active engagement during your scheduled shift
- Work through and be familiar with key content across platforms (i.e. Challenges, the Method, Workouts, Lesson Paths, etc…).
- Be knowledgeable about current trends in the music industry and online learning.
- A high level of confidentiality regarding student-related information is required.
- Occasional travel to head office in Abbotsford required.
Key Qualifications:
Knowledge/Education/Experience
- Proficient in both written and verbal English.
- Extensive knowledge and a deep passion for music and musical concepts.
- Skilled in articulating and developing learning objectives and goals for students.
- Active performance experience in live music settings.
- Proficiency in required instrument.
