Taking place on Saturday March 7 from 1 to 4 PM at the Broom Factory\, this event shines a spotlight on the remarkable talents of women and non-binary songwriters in Kingston. \nThe event\, hosted by acclaimed musician Miss Emily\, will feature performances by Piner\, Luella\, Atiari\, and Kyra. Margaret Evans of Balancing Act will moderate fireside chat exploring songwriting\, creativity\, and the challenges of navigating the music industry as underrepresented voices. \nIn addition to the music\, the event will showcase women-owned businesses aligned with the creative industries\, further fostering collaboration and support. If you seek a meaningful way to celebrate International Women’s Day\, this showcase promises an afternoon of inspiration and artistry. \nThis event is presented by Miss Emily and the Kingston Music Office\, with additional support provided by CFRC and Balancing Act.
