WIM Canada State of the Industry Panel

Moderated by Tasha Schumann (AKA Tasha the Amazon) the session brings together industry experts and artists for a candid look at how Canadian musicians are adapting and thriving today. The Canadian music landscape offers a unique set of opportunities and challenges for independent artists, but understanding where sustainable income truly lies is a moving target. This Women in Music Canada panel, "State of the Industry," hosted virtually and open to all WIM Canada members, dives into the realities of making a living as a full-time artist in Canada. From touring to funding and royalties, each panelist will shed light on income sources that are critical for independent artists. Participants will gain clarity on navigating the many revenue streams and learn more about how successful artists shape their goals in an industry that is ever evolving.
