Artist Management Coordinator

Good People Only is seeking a day to day artist manager (or management coordinator) to assist with the growing needs of our artist management roster.

In this dynamic role within our Artist Management team, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the flourishing careers of our artists while directly supporting Good People’s founder. Your versatile responsibilities include:

Duties:

  • Point person for day-to-day needs of artist and team including agents, labels, marketing partners and beyond
  • Manage ongoing projects and ensure artists, collaborators and team stay on track for delivery targets
  • Maintain project management systems and internal communications to ensure crucial developments in artists day-to-day are communicated effectively to all they may affect
  • Touring logistics including liaising with tour managers, touring companies, tour staff and in some cases, promoter and festival buyers to ensure smooth touring operations
  • Organize logistics for events, festivals, and tour dates when needed
  • Liaise with merchandising partners to ensure merchandise for touring engagements are taken care of as well as smooth operations for e-commerce
  • Track and ensure merchandising goals and timelines are met 
  • Build out comprehensive budgets for projects large and small to be reviewed by team, clients and partners
  • Maintain constant and effective communication with artists and team to ensure alignment on project objectives, address concerns promptly, and foster a collaborative and responsive working relationship
  • Provide regular artist updates to team and manager
  • Extract action items and important information from calls to be shared internally and create action plans

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Canadian music industry or arts administration, with strong knowledge of the current trends 
  • Strong proficiency with Google suite, Asana, MasterTour, email etiquette
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks spanning multiple projects and meet all deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate and adapt effectively in high stress environments and situations
  • Flexible hours to ensure communication needs are met 
  • Understanding of accounting and profit/loss in the music industry.
