A notable live & studio singer in Toronto, Donna has opened for such artists as Glen Campbell, Burton Cummings, Three Dog Night, James Brown, Patti Labelle & Dionne Warwick. She came to prominence at 16 in her hometown of Ottawa joining her father Dillon O'Connor - in the singing of the National Anthem for a season of Ottawa Rough Riders home games. As well as winning roles singing /dancing/acting in (Bye bye birdie, West Side Story & Anne of Green Gables) to list a few. Touring across Canada , and the U.S with her band 'Hostage' resulted in her first independent release produced by Hugh Marsh (Bruce Cockburn band) on her own OM records. Bruce Cockburn joined her on 'Play it by Heart" earning radio airplay that year in Canada & the U.S. After a decade on the road with her band she has established a singing,songwriting & arranging career here in Toronto as well as a thriving lesson studio in the Beaches. Her last collection of original songs titled 'Hooked' is available on itunes .
