Hi! My name is Laura, and I am an entertainment lawyer based in Toronto. Currently, I am an associate at Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP. Prior to joining the firm, I operated my own law firm where my practice focused on all aspects of the music industry. Since joining the firm, my practice has expanded into film, television, and new media. I act for a wide range of clients, including artists, managers, producers, influencers and content creators, and other copyright owners. In my practice, I regularly draft and negotiate management, recording, licensing, distribution, and publishing agreements, and a variety of other agreements to help clients protect their business interests and intellectual property.
