Armed with a soulful, velvety voice, Edmonton-based singer/songwriter, actor and visual artist Kaeley Jade effortlessly blends lush poetry and hooky melodic lines to craft music that is both playful and poignant. An Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Award nominee, Kaeley’s music has been featured on editorial playlists across DSPs including Spotify’s New Music Friday and Fresh Finds, and in numerous publications such as Tinnitist (500k+ Twitter followers) and SAY Magazine. She has received radio play across North America, and her latest single, "Painless," recently hit #1 on the charts of Indigenous Music Countdown. An alumnus of RBCxMusic’s First Up Program and Indigenous Music’s Market Builder Residency, Kaeley has performed at events such as the Big Valley Jamboree and Tkaronto Music Festival. Reminiscent of artists like Maggie Rogers and Vance Joy, the Métis artist explores the beauty and complexity of human relationships in her vibrant and polished indie pop.
